Our hand poured candles are made in small batches from soy wax with pure essential oils. Soy wax is completely natural and renewable. They contain no pamaderabens, phthalates, sulfates or synthetic fragrances.

Lavender Cinnamon Orange Soy Candle
The container may get hot while burning. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Do not burn candles on or near anything that can catch fire. Only burn candles on a heat resistant surface. Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Keep the wick trimmed to 1/2 cm (1/4 inch) to avoid excessive flame and smoke. Never move a hot candle or burn a candle with a container lid on. Discontinue use when 1 cm (1/2 inch) remains in the jar.
Why? To prevent tunneling. Tunnelling happens when only the middle burns down, leaving a hard ring of unmelted wax around the edges of your candle.
The first time you burn your new candle let it burn until the melted wax reaches the edge of the container before blowing out the candle. A good rule of thumb is to burn the candle one hour for every 2.5 cm (1 inch) of diameter of the vessel.
Best practice would be to trim the wick back down to 1/2 cm (1/4") before lighting the candle, while the wax is solid. If your wick appears to be producing smoke at any time it may need to be trimmed.
